ABOUT EUAC

The Edinburgh University A Cappella Society (EUAC) was founded by a small group of freshers in September 2014, who stumbled on the idea of an a cappella society with an impromptu rendition of Stacy's Mom. They wanted the opportunity to sing in a relaxed and friendly environment and to create a new and exciting musical society that was inclusive to those of all musical backgrounds. The first auditions were held, and the group grew to a modest fifteen members. In the second semester of that year, EUAC became an established official Edinburgh University society, and has grown ever since.

We are now a proud society of over ninety members, and our eight incredible groups range from our award-winning, nationally-competing groups to our fantastic non-competition groups who perform at events all over Edinburgh.

In EUAC, we promote creativity, team spirit, and innovation through a cappella music. We also encourage our members to develop their skills and confidence, not only with singing, but also beatboxing, arranging music, choreography, photography, and videography.
